For the past couple of years, Judyth Vary Baker has been conducting pixelation studies of Billy Lovelady’s checkered colored plaid shirt, and comparing these with Doorman. We have confirmed the validity of her work, and have taken it one step further:
This collage offers the user the exact Photoshop formula required to achieve the exact pixelation seen in Doorman’s shirt. The red outlined insert on Doorman comes from the black and white image of Lee Oswald’s shirt at the National Archives. For comparison, we have also included blur analysis of Lovelady’s shirt.
